The Little Mermaid would have to be my favorite Disney movie. I can relate so much to Ariel in the sense that I wish I were in another world. That, and I LOVE mermaids! Although, I must admit, I like Belle from Beauty and the Beast also. I want more for myself, and I love books. In all, I adore Disney!!

I really liked The Little Mermaid too, and you don't find many guys liking it. The songs and voice actors were great. The storyline wasn't the same as the original tale but still very, very good. But best of all; there's Ursula!! Although it's not my ultimate favourite movie it has made me view other people's and my own perspective about the world we currently live in.

I agree. & I think Ursula would have to be on my top list for best villians EVER!! I love her song!! (well, I love all the songs, but still). I don't know the original tale, so I'll have to take your word for it. I love Jodi Benson who does Ariel. Jodi Benson & Liz Callaway (who does Anastasia & Odette) are my two favorite voices for animated movies.

I'm kinda glad they didn't do the original tale. In the original, Ariel (who didn't even have a name) went to the sea witch, who granted her legs, but the mermaid felt pain every time she walked, as a sign of the hurt she'd left her family in or something like that. Anyway, the prince ended up marrying someone else and the Little Mermaid died in the end. I think they changed it to a happier ending. Which is good! =]
It's my 2nd favourite film ^^ It's got the brilliant animation, songs, and storyline, with a brilliant cast too, Jodi is amazing. One thing I'm not too keen on is the fact that Eric basically falls in love with Ariel because of her voice, and then because of her looks (He can't fall in love with her personality, she can't speak when they finally meet properly. =\) But It is a really good film, and I know a lot of people love this movie. Ursula's a wicked villain, I love her =D

Well, now that I know about the original, I can say I'm glad they didn't do it either. I don't care for Eric much, I can't stand guys who only care about looks or whatever!!
And I think they have a good cast, too. I adore Jodi Benson. Her and Liz Callaway are my fave animated movie singers.

Well, look who he's paired with, of course he don't do much. Let's see, a gorgeous, beautifuly-singing, young and fiery mermaid-turned-human oorrrr eric, the prince who loves the sea. Hmm, I go for Ariel. lol
